We are seeking a highly motivated experienced Investment Banking Vice President with at least five years of Investment Banking or equivalent experience to join our Defense & Government team in Tysons Corner, VA. Baird’s 20+ person dedicated Defense & Government team is recognized as a leading M&A advisor to the sector. Since 2021 advised 60 transactions totaling over $28 billion in transaction value.

As a Vice President in Investment Banking, you will:

• Assist senior bankers in the business development effort.
• Lead transaction execution teams.
• Work primarily on sell-side mergers and acquisitions, as well as occasional buy-side mandates, public equity offerings, and other financial advisory services for clients across the Defense & Government sector.

What we look for:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of prior investment banking experience and the proven ability to lead the execution effort on a variety of complex capital markets and M&A transactions.
• Candidates must also display excellent client relationship skills and an ability to learn in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Prior investment banking experience is required. An MBA or JD degree is preferred.

Additional Details: 

Compensation Information: 

• Min: $250,000 - $250,000 Max Annual Salary 

• Bonus Eligible
